BRIEFING:
The briefing for this project, asked the students to pick a book trilogy, redesign the covers, the interior pages of the books, the Posters as well as bookmarks focusing solely on the trilogy.
The Infernal Devices is book Trilogy written by Cassandra Clare. The books are science fiction as well as fantastic world, combining both a fantastical world with the human world. The trilogy introduces creatures that are a hybrid of
arc-angels and humans, and follows the adventures of a group of the creatures. This project, much like many other will be presented in this Portfolio.

DESIGN:
Each book is assigned a color, for example the first book is navy blue, the second book is dark gree, and the third book is dark pink. These colors have been inspired by the original books, trying not to stray too far from the original margins of the book covers.
Symbols and illustrations that differ differ, but are found in all three books, are in all three books, are an image of the Shadowhunter of the runes of the Shadowhunter runes (which give them powers) that play important roles throughout the stories. Instead of only creating one poster, I decided to create four, one for each of the books and one general poster, combining all of the elements. There are two main designs, one stating the name of the trilogy in large "The Infernal Devices". The other with the runes of the shadowhunter runes in the center, and the name of the trilogy embroidered. Both designs follow the same concept as well as the same elements as the redesigned books, to create a sense of continuity and unity between them, such as the gears in the background and the golden diamond
The overall sign is black, which, of the four manifests the greatest contrast, between black and gold. The contrast, as in most of my of my other works, has been reinforced to attract the public's attention.
